Hi, my name is Brian Funk. I'm a musician, producer, songwriter, and Ableton Certified Trainer. I've played guitar, bass, drums, synths and sang in various touring rock bands. These days, I focus on my solo electronic set which allows me to take my experiments in the studio to the stage. I'm extremely passionate about sharing knowledge and learning from others.

I began writing my music production blog in 2011. In 2013, I became an Ableton Certified Trainer and created a video course on Live Performance with Ableton Live. Since 2014, I've worked for Berklee College of Music, teaching the Advanced Music Production with Ableton Live and Ableton Live Techniques: Sampling courses. I began the Music Production Podcast in 2017, which explores the creative, philosophical, and technical side of making music through informal conversation. My new EP of relaxing, meditative music, A Journey Inward, was released in March 2020.
