My name is Joop van der Knaap. I live in Utrecht, The Netherlands. This is also where I have my Studio. My Company name is MEMACMIDI Music Productions.
I have been making pop-music for many years and have been part of various bands. as guitar and keyboard player. After I stopped live performances, I concentrated on composing and producing original popular music.
The name MEMACMIDI is derived from the words ME (myself), MAC (the hardware I use) and MIDI (The digital format that I use to create music). I consider myself as a “One Man Band” with digital and real instruments.
I am now focusing on composition and production of background music for libraries
